Does anyone know what the official verdict is on window tinting. Thinking of having my car done but everyone tells a different story -it is legal or not? If so how dark?

As far as I know its illegal on the front windscreen and front side windows but legal on the rear windows, hope that helps

Yes I agree with that last one - its legal so long as its not to dark. The only place its totally illegal is the windscreen

Yes I had mine done last week, light smoke all round, not been pulled over yet and been past plenty of police so fingers crossed!

Got it tinted in the end - looks wicked! Went for a light smoke all the way round - fingers crossed I dont get pulled!

do dont go for limo black as u will be stoped and they will tell u to take it of while there are there and give u a fine go for somthing light back will has got to let in 70% of light in and same with the sides
